The Home Delivery Laundry Driver is responsible for delivering laundry and dry-cleaning items to customers’ homes, and designated locations, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional service. The role requires excellent time management, customer service skills, and adherence to safety protocols.
Delivery:
Deliver laundry items to customers at scheduled times.
Ensure all items are accounted for, minimising the risk of mix-ups.
Route Planning:
Plan daily routes to maximise efficiency and minimise travel time.
Adjust routes as necessary for same-day pickups or changes to customer schedules.
Customer Service:
Communicate politely and professionally with customers, addressing any questions or concerns.
Vehicle Maintenance and Safety:
Report any vehicle issues or required repairs promptly.
Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols while driving.
Record Keeping:
Accurately log deliveries, and use driver app to complete delivery through phototaking
Ensure all deliveries are handled in a secure and organized manner.
Assistance with Laundry Logistics:
Assist in loading and unloading laundry items at the plant as needed.
Communicate with laundry plant staff to ensure all customer items are ready for delivery.
Job Requirements:
Laundry/ Goods driver experience is a plus
Able to handle heavy load
Class 3 / 3A Licence required
Working Hours:
Mondays - Saturday: 8am - 5pm
