We are partnering with a leading global player in the commodities industry to find an experienced Internal Auditor to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical abilities to help ensure robust internal controls and risk management across a diverse portfolio of operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the evaluation and review of financial and operational activities across the Group's subsidiaries within the Asia and Oceania regions.
- Contribute to the development and execution of comprehensive audit plans, ensuring they align with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
- Assess internal processes and controls, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Work closely with management to evaluate business risks and implement effective measures to mitigate them.
- Prepare clear, concise audit reports with actionable recommendations to strengthen business operations and controls.
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's Degree in any field (Accounting, Finance, or related fields preferred).
- A minimum of 6 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years specifically in internal auditing within the commodities or similar industry.
- Strong understanding of risk management, internal control systems, and audit methodologies.
- Proven ability to analyze complex business processes, providing practical solutions for improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and deliver findings to senior management.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently to manage multiple audit projects and deadlines.
- Willingness to travel, including to emerging markets such as India, Indonesia, and Pakistan.
