You are expected to manage your team (Senior Planners / Planners / Executives) that are being deployed in your business.
The role:
As a Senior Media Manager at our agency, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing media marketing strategies for our biggest client, a leading automotive brand, across the APAC region.
You will lead a team of talented professionals and work closely with clients to achieve their marketing objectives.
This role requires a deep understanding of media channels, excellent leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for staying ahead of industry trends.
Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
· Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact.
· Understand clients' business goals and translate them into effective media strategies.
· Provide strategic recommendations and insights to clients to optimize their marketing efforts.
Team Leadership and Development:
· Lead and mentor a team of media professionals.
· Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting the growth and development of team members.
· Set clear objectives, provide constructive feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
Strategy Development:
· Develop and execute comprehensive media strategies that align with clients' objectives.
· Oversee the planning and implementation of digital campaigns across various channels, including Paid Search, Programmatic, Social Media.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
· Utilize data analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and provide actionable insights for optimization.
· Prepare and present regular reports to clients, highlighting key performance indicators and recommendations for improvement.
Budget Management:
· Manage media budgets effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
· Monitor campaign spend and adjust strategies as needed to stay within budget constraints.
Stay Informed on Industry Trends:
· Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in media industry.
· Apply industry knowledge to enhance clients' media strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Process/Strategy
- Be our biddable media platform planning & activation expert (eg Google Ads, DV360, Facebook/IG, TikTok).
- Improve the current workflow & optimization processes.
- Work as both a leader and hands-on expert to assist junior team members with delivering results for clients.
Experience required:
· Minimum 6 years of work experience in a digital media and client servicing role.
· Strong technical understanding of Google Ads, Social, Programmatic planning, and implementation.
· Integrated media planning knowledge would be an added advantage (OOH, Radio, TV, etc.).
· Strong communicator - possesses excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
· Be a proactive self-starter and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
· Team leadership and mentoring experience.
· Have strong organizational skills being able to manage multiple clients / projects at once.
· Be confident in analysing and acting on marketing data.
