  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer at k-ID, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our public web applications and providing a positive digital experience for our game studio partners and their end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of features in a fullstack Next.js web application and/or Go service, working with UX, Product and other engineers to build a user-friendly interface, while implementing best practices for web performance, scalability, and maintainability

  • Ensure that backend and frontend systems operate smoothly in production by triaging and resolving operational issues

  • Be a champion for security best practices in the frontend and backend, to protect sensitive user data against emerging threats

  • Conduct code reviews and mentorship to elevate team capabilities and product quality

  • Help build a positive and inclusive work culture

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years of engineering experience

  • Experience with Typescript, React, Next.js, Go and SQL databases

  • Experience shipping mature systems at high scale

  • Excited to primarily be an individual contributor with a ton of ownership

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with UX designers to build delightful frontend user interfaces

  • Desire to work in an early-stage, fast-paced environment with a degree of ambiguity

  • Excited to primarily be an individual contributor with a ton of ownership

  • Ability to work during a daily overlap of a few hours with the rest of the team

  • Excellent communication skills in English
