Description
Mission statement:
Design and deploy strategies, best practices and solutions for Planning & Fulfillment. Develop Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Inventory, Resource Management and short-term planning processes, and within Systems businesses Net working capital. To drive planning initiatives to improve customer on time delivery, and lead-time, inventory reduction incl. sales in excess of invoicing, forecast accuracy and resource utilization.
Your responsibilities:
You will develop, communicate and implement HUB Planning and Fulfillment strategies which are aligned with the business strategy. You will implement the deployment and improvement of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and inventory management best practice process across all units in line with Global/HUB instructions, develop and lead end-to-end (E2E) process optimization, to reduce overall E2E lead-times reduce inventory incl. sales in excess of invoicing, and customer on-time delivery, improve fulfillment and value chain visibility.
You will coordinate with other functions such as Procurement and Logistics, Finance and Sales and Marketing, identify opportunities where P&F can contribute value to other functions and look for process within other functions that can improve performance of P&F, ensure the local organizations (HUB, PG, and local Operating Units) get trained, and support them defining the specific local process, ensure that S&OP blueprint is defined within the HUB, ensure the S&OP is implemented, ensure that S&OP meets the required standard, and maturity improvement plan is implemented.
You will coach and lead the deployment of inventory management best practices, establish, support and maintain inventory management, in project units, sales in excess of invoicing, process and guidelines across all units in line with Global/HUB instructions, accountable for local units achieving their budget objectives for Inventory Turns, accountable for inventory, include SIE across the global value Chain.
You will coach and train Operating Units in development and deployment of tactical resource planning and/or capacity planning to establish optimum resource levels and capacity with the right skill and at the optimum cost location for the medium-term horizon. Is responsible for driving OUs to maximize customer OTD while minimizing under and over absorption and the related operations cost. You will coach and train the HUB and local Operating Units in development and deployment of a short-term planning process, connect S&OP plan with execution and ensure the perfect execution of customers’ orders on time, with lowest possibly level of inventory and sales in excess of invoicing.
You will ensure safe working procedures and practices are followed at all times including the wearing and maintenance of assigned Personal Protective Equipment, attend required health, safety and environment training, report injuries, incidents, hazards and near miss events, model safe work behaviors in all aspects of work and actively identify hazards and risk controls, drive and hold itself accountable for the highest standard of health, safety and environment to ensure Zero Harm is achieved, responsible for compliance with relevant HSE policy and procedures, ensure proactive risk assessments take place and corrective actions monitored/followed up, contribute to an injury, incident, near miss and hazard reporting culture within your team.

Your background:
You hold bachelor's degree (or equivalent).
At least 10 years’ experience in planning, scheduling, project management or similar fields.
Experience in people management preferred.
Proficient with Office 365 suite of products, knowledge of Hitachi systems preferred.
Proficiency English communication.
