Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to review financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance with local regulatory requirements under different accounting standards (IFRS and US GAAP, etc.); to coordinate with external auditor’s requests and other external reporting matters; and to prepare accounting memos on specific transactions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, audit methodoligy (including knowledge on IT audit test), financial reporting standards, and excellent analytical & communication skills. Work experience with coordination with overseas teams is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review financial statements, reports, schedules prepared under different accounting standards (IFRS and US GAAP, etc) to ensure no significant misstatement or omission in disclosures.
- Coordinate with external auditors with interim/annual audit requests, tests and meetings etc.
- Conduct detailed analysis of financial data and performance metrics.
- Prepare accounting memo for significant transactions in various topics such as consolidation, business combination, impairment test and etc.
- Collaborate with internal accounting/FBP teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
- Support external auditors on IT related tests annually.
- Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains in financial reporting.
