- End-to-end management and execution of gift administration at College of Design and Engineering (CDE), from gift acceptance, processing, recording and disbursement.
- Coordinate with CDE's Deanery and Departments to generate and collate gift reports as the need arises for donor stewardship and audit purposes.
- Assist and support CDE's Deanery and Departments as the need arises to address gift-related enquiries and issues.
- Work closely with university-level Development Office on gift administration matters for CDE, as needed.
- Support the Senior Manager/Associate Director in the stewardship of CDE's donors, including to collaborate closely and provide support to CDE's Deanery and Departments on engagement events and initiatives (such as donor appreciation events, fundraising events, and beneficiary-donor engagement sessions).
- Assist the Senior Manager/Associate Director to follow-up on matters with donors and internal stakeholders (such as proposal drafting, soliciting of more information, and arranging follow-up meetings) after the initial engagements.
- Advise and coordinate with CDE's Deanery and Departments on matters and enquiries relating to gifts and donations, including to liaise with university-level Development Office and with cross-functional units like Finance and Admissions on necessary information exchanges and follow-ups.
- Work closely with cross-functional units like Office of Alumni Relations and Office of Student Life on opportunities to engage students and alumni on the spirit of giving.
- Work closely with university-level Development Office to advance giving matters for CDE.
- Degree from a recognised university with at least 5 years of related experience.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Comfortable to work independently as an individual contributor as well as collaborating as part of a team.
- An eye for detail to execute, monitor and follow-up on administrative and approval processes.
- Able to multi-task between donor-engagement and gift administration responsibilities.
- Candidates with prior experience in donor engagement/gift administration/administration at an institute of higher learning or public organisation (e.g. university administration, charitable organisations) will be preferred.
