  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will work with Dr Brandon I Morinaka on production and biological evaluation of peptide natural products under a project on Genome mining and biosynthesis of peptide natural products.The main responsibilities of the position include:
  • Support safe operations and maintenance of equipment in the lab.
  • Facilitate working with undergrad students when necessary.
  • Assist with procurement and ordering of chemicals and consumables.
  • Carry out research for new peptide natural products discovery and development including recombinant protein expression, and production and extraction of natural products.
Qualifications
  • Qualifications / Discipline:
B.S. in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related discipline.
  • Skills:
Biochemical techniques (protein expression and purification, SDS-PAGE, size exclusion and affinity chromatography) and/or Analytical chemistry (NMR, MS, HPLC). Good written and oral communication skills. Able to work effectively in a team.
  • Experience:
