The Clinical Development group are responsible for the development and characterization manufacturing processes used for the production of novel therapeutic recombinant proteins for Lonza’s global client base. The purpose of this role is to support laboratory operation activities in the department to help ensure that the laboratory is a safe, GMP compliant and efficient place to work.Duties and Responsibilities include:Adherence to EHS rules and regulations and good laboratory practices according to cGMP and cGDPResponsible in daily routine operational task such as equipment verification, warehouse collection, printing logbook, etc. in laboratory. 90% of the time working in laboratoryEquipment maintenance and daily calibrationsAutoclaving of equipment and manual washing of glasswareEnsure good housekeeping and audit readinessCoordinating equipment maintenancePreparation of media, feeds, buffers and reagentsPurchase and maintain stock levels of consumables and chemicalsPerform EM of water on monthly basisContributes to operational efficiency in the departmentDemonstrate flexibility to support other activities within the team/departmentFuture 6S area ownerCompletion and peer review of document as per GMP requirementsEducation and Experience:Diploma in a relevant Science field2-5 years working experiences in laboratory environmentBasic knowledge of routines in laboratory environment gained through formal training or experienceFamiliarity with Microsoft Office and other relevant software packagesEvery day, Lonza’s products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
