Culina is a leading purveyor of specialist Epicurean foods and wines, a choice distributor to hotels, restaurants, and cafes in Singapore. Culina runs a Bistro and Gourmet boutique, an Organic retail store, SuperNature in Dempsey, as well as a chain of butcheries in major supermarkets island-wide.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide good customer service to walk-in customers to ensure they have a positive customer experience.
Handle order fulfilment processes, gain product knowledge to promote sales and communicate with customers, e.g., be able to communicate what is organic, gluten- or dairy-free
Operating the POS cash register, handle various types of payments
Monitor stock movement to ensure stock availability
Receive stock and report stock damages and discrepancies to Manager in charge
Stacking, displaying and replenishment of products on the shelves, as well as monitoring expiry dates and shelf lives of products.
Store goods at the appropriate temperature and maintain neat and systematic storage of products.
Ensure the store’s cleanliness, tidiness and high standard of sanitation, and comply with workplace safety requirements.
Comply with all corporate policies and statutory act compliance.
Multi-task and carry out any other duties when required by immediate superior.
Requirements:
GCE ‘O’ Level certificate or NITEC in Retail Services
WSQ Basic Food Hygiene/Food Safety Course Level 1 certificate
Good team player with good customer service skills
Good time management and punctuality at work
Able to perform shift duties and work on weekend & public holidays
