Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service:
Greet guests warmly and promptly upon their arrival.
Provide guests with menus and explain daily specials.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.
Relay orders to the kitchen and bar efficiently.
Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
Upsell menu items, including appetizers, desserts, and drinks, to enhance the guest experience.
Maintain a positive and friendly attitude with guests, even in challenging situations.
Order Management:
Ensure that food and beverages are served to guests in a timely manner.
Handle special requests, dietary restrictions, and any modifications to the order with care.
Keep the service area clean and organized, ensuring that utensils, napkins, and condiments are readily available.
Process payments accurately, including handling cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic payments.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with cleaning and resetting tables for the next guest.
Support colleagues in providing exceptional service when necessary.
Health and Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Follow company policies regarding alcohol service, including checking IDs when necessary.
Keep the dining area clean and organized at all times.
Product Knowledge:
Stay informed about the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pricing.
