Our client is a global leader in the consumer industry. As part of their strategic growth, they are expanding their presence in the Asia Pacific region, a key market that offers exciting opportunities. To foster the business's long-term growth, they are dedicated to building a strong HR team to implement streamlined and effective HR processes.

Reporting to the Regional HR Director, the role involves managing both the local payroll system (Timesoft) and the global HRIS (SAP) for all employees, ensuring accurate records of staff details and any movements within the payroll system. This includes overseeing the complete monthly payroll process, from salary payouts to CPF contributions and other mandatory government submissions for employees in Singapore.

You will be the key driver of strategic regional projects, including payroll harmonisation, process optimisation/automation and the streamlining of HR frameworks across the region. This position will also support employee engagement activities and events to foster a positive work culture.

Requirements

  • Degree-qualified, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in managing HR operations and payroll processes (ideally in consumer/ service-oriented industries).
  • Proficiency in payroll software such as SAP, Timesoft, or similar HRIS systems.
  • Strong knowledge of local and regional payroll regulations and tax laws.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
