TWG Tea is seeking a Content and Copywriting Intern to support the Content and Copywriting Departments within the Corporate Communications division. This dynamic and creative role involves content development and management, based at TWG Tea’s global headquarters in Singapore.
Primary Functions
Content Management
The World of TWG, the editorial section of our global brand website, functions as a digital in-house magazine and will be the primary focus of this role:
- Assist with uploading stories and monitoring content using the Content Management System (CMS).
- Support the Copywriting Department with content curation, development, editing, and writing for the global brand website and its subsequent international sites.
Content Development
- Contribute to the creative ideation process and brainstorming; a keen eye for and awareness of industry trends is an asset.
- Assist the Copywriting Department by conducting additional research and creating engaging brand content and stories that resonate with target audiences while reflecting the brand’s communications style and luxury positioning.
- Support the Copywriting Department in editing and proofreading assets across Public Relations, Marketing, and Digital teams to ensure that language aligns with the brand and meets various advertising and content objectives.
- Collaborate with the team to continually raise the bar for writing fresh copy that connects with desired audiences and drives action across multiple communication channels.
Secondary Function
Content Creation
Support the Content Department with photoshoots (on a needs basis) and assist with a variety of administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Candidate would be able to commit for a minimum period of 6 months from January to June 2025.
- The ideal candidate will have experience or an academic focus in Journalism, English, or Comparative Literature, with an excellent command of language essential to the role.
- The ideal candidate is also a skilled writer and editor, demonstrating the adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with diverse stakeholders.
- Previous editorial experience is beneficial, along with strong conceptual and critical thinking abilities. An interest in luxury branding, art, design, technology, gastronomy or fashion is a bonus.
