Logistics Operations Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• Liaison between clients, overseas office/agents, sub-contractors, carriers/co-loaders and internal departments to ensure smooth handling of shipments;
• Managing and coordinating Sea Import/Export shipments including ISO Tanks;
• Arranging & creation of booking in the system, checking & confirming of schedule availability once received from customers;
• Coordinating and resolve shipment issues;
• Timely preparation of documentation (S/I, BL, Invoice, Packing List, Permits & Pre-alert) to customers, carriers/co-loaders, transport team, warehouse team & overseas offices;
• Ensure information are updated in internal systems correctly & timely;
• Follow up with customers, warehouse & oversea offices on any short-landed, over-landed, damaged or discrepancy cargo;
• Cost verification;
• Updating of customers’ shipment monitoring sheet if required;
• Any other tasks assigned by the superior.
