JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
* Slicing, cutting, shredding, tendering, skewing, washing, cleaning, peeling,
cutting, and chopping fruit, vegetables, poultry, and meat.
* Braising and grilling meat
* Checking that ingredients remain fresh and safe for consumption
* Tracking inventory to ensure that you always have adequate supplies
* Issue PO as and when is required
* Properly cleaning and sanitizing all food preparation areas according to
established standards of hygiene.
* Washing and appropriately storing all cooking appliances, instruments, utensils,
cutting boards, and dishes.
* Sweeping and mopping the kitchen floors as well as wiping down kitchen walls.
* Assisting with the unloading of delivered food supplies.
* Organizing and correctly storing food supplies.
* Promptly transferring meal ingredients from storage areas to the kitchen as per
the instructions.
* Stirring and heating soups and sauces.
* Any other reasonable request, as required by Head Chef / Management
REQUIREMENTS:
* Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
* Proven experience working in the kitchens
* The ability to stand for extended periods
* Availability to work various shifts, including weekends
* Multi-tasking abilities
* Good oral communication skills
* Ability to remain calm & professional in a fast-paced work environment
* 2 years relevant experience
