Job Description
Sales and Marketing:
- Own and hit/exceed sales targets within assigned territories and accounts
- Attend to clients’ concerns and enquiries to acquire new clients, upsell to existing active client, win-back dormant clients and prevent client attrition
- Manage the entire sales operations of the Territory, including but not limited to Direct Sales, Indirect Sales, sales promotions, prospecting, customer service and communications, market Survey and related activities.
- Manage the Indirect Sales – providing the approved price list, attending to all sales and marketing matters/activities, on-the-job training, site visits, logistics and any other incidental matters. Provide on-the-ground support for distribution partners as they generate leads and close new deals.
- Manage Online and Offline Marketing, including product brochure and marketing material creation, seasonal activities, exhibitions, talks and seminars, conducting market surveys and keeping abreast of the latest market developments and new tests
- Measure and track the sales performance of direct sales and the sales of Distributors.
- Prepare reports on regional sales results and distributors' performances and conduct business reviews with distributors to discuss sales performance.
- Use established customer relationship management (CRM) systems to document data relative to partners, accounts, and activities and update management.
- Participate in discussion for pricing models.
- Participate in discussions for competitive plans and strategies.
- Measure and track the collection of payments for direct sales and sales of Distributors.
- Liaise with the relevant staff to update, maintain, and compile marketing reports, present meaningful analyses, and provide justifiable recommendations.
Finance:
- To ensure that all Pricing is properly presented to Distributors/Hospitals/Doctors/Patients for all services with accuracy and completeness.
- To monitor and assist in the collection and banking of revenue receipts and forward documentary proof to the Finance Department.
- To participate and assist in the development, compilation, and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
Quality and Compliance
- Ensure that the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Sales and Marketing activities are established, implemented, and constantly updated or enhanced and to ensure that all medical and non-medical staff adhere strictly to the SOPs.
- Integrity of Data – safeguard with proper upkeep, maintenance, and filing of all records including patients’ information and data.
Other matters: To perform all other duties as assigned by the Head of Commercial or incidental to the work as described above.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Marketing, Business Studies or related Science discipline preferred
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in similar sales and marketing role(s) with proven outstanding sales track records in the clinical laboratory, pharmaceutical or healthcare-related industry. Fresh grads who wish to take up the challenge are welcome to apply
- Experience in the oncology sector in Singapore or Malaysia will be strongly preferred
- Certification/ background as a Medical Technologist, Nurse and Phlebotomist will be an added advantage.
