Job Description:
- Ensure all Malaysia operations are executed in full compliance with the company IMS, SMS, SCM rules and Group systems, policies and procedure
- Ensure all Malaysia operations are executed in full compliance with the laws and regulations within the countries that we operate as well as the requirements of charterers
- Reliability checks are conducted for all vessels prior to on-hiring with charterers
- Ensure all customer enquiries and requests shall be promptly attended to by operations personnel
- Ensure all vessels complete an Offshore Vessel Particulars Questionnaire (OVPQ2) every year and update OVID / OSVIS system accordingly
- Ensure all vessels certifications are valid at all times
- Ensure all vessel specification provided to existing / potential customers are accurate at all times
- Report and submit weekly operations journal
- Ensure all vessels comply with Company OE
- Carry out V&V and Constant Care for vessel minimum twice per annum per vessel
- Ensure costing is always within budget and minimum downtime
- To provide guidance for technical related troubleshooting and work with SVS Technical Superintendent on technical matters.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Maritime Transportation
- Deck or Engineering Certificate of Competency 2 and above
- Relevant operations and offshore industry experience
- Well verse in Malaysia Flag state requirements to operate in Malaysia waters
