As a Cashier at our retail apparel store in Jurong Point, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by efficiently handling transactions, maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, and supporting the overall operations of the store. You will play a key role in delivering a seamless shopping experience for our customers while ensuring accuracy in cash handling and payment processing.

• Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering inquiries about products, promotions, and store policies.
• Transaction Handling: Accurately process sales transactions, including cash, credit card, and mobile payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Product Scanning: Ensure accurate scanning and pricing of all items at checkout.
• Refunds and Exchanges: Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds following store policies, while maintaining professionalism and resolving any customer concerns.
• Cash Management: Ensure cash drawer is balanced at the beginning and end of each shift; handle cash and change accurately.
• Stock Support: Assist with restocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store.
• Promotions: Inform customers of ongoing sales, promotions, and loyalty programs to enhance their shopping experience and drive sales.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow team members to ensure smooth store operations and help achieve store sales targets.
• Loss Prevention: Monitor for potential shoplifting and report any suspicious activity to store management.

• Experience: Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred, but not required.
• Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash.
  • Familiarity with POS systems or willingness to learn.
