We develop fun and visually captivating mobile games, and we're seeking someone who can elevate our brand presence by leveraging social media trends, particularly on TikTok and YouTube. This role is perfect for someone who understands how to craft compelling video content that resonates with mobile gaming audiences and drives engagement with our games.
Position Overview:
As the Social Media Manager focused on video content, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to grow our presence on TikTok and YouTube, specifically with content that highlights our mobile games. You’ll work closely with our marketing and creative teams to craft engaging video content that showcases our games' unique features and appeals to our target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a video content strategy for TikTok and YouTube, designed to increase engagement and awareness of our mobile games.
- Create, edit, and optimise short-form and long-form video content, incorporating the latest trends on each platform while aligning with First Fun’s brand and game themes.
- Track and analyse video performance metrics to understand audience preferences, using insights to refine and improve content strategies that drive game interest.
- Collaborate with the game development and creative teams to produce content that highlights game features, updates, and community-driven events, promoting First Fun’s mobile games in an authentic and engaging way.
- Engage with the audience on TikTok and YouTube, responding to comments and fostering a positive and interactive community around our games.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging video trends, platform updates, and competitor strategies to ensure our content is both relevant and impactful in the mobile gaming space.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful video content on TikTok and YouTube.
- Strong video editing skills, with proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
- Deep understanding of social media metrics, with the ability to interpret data to inform and improve content strategies for mobile game promotion.
- A passion for mobile gaming, and knowledge of current gaming trends, especially on TikTok and YouTube.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the gaming or entertainment industry, with a focus on mobile games.
- Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling content that drives engagement for mobile games.
- Familiarity with live streaming and interactive video formats is a plus.
