Role:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with Marine Boilers.
  • Carry out repairs on inboard and outboard marine boilers.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Use service management software to log and track repairs and maintenance tasks.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other technicians and service team members to ensure efficient workflow and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as required.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in marine mechanics or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in marine service and repair for boilers.
  • Strong mechanical skills and ability to solve problems.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and marine service equipment.
  • Knowledge of marine engines, auxiliary engines, and cargo pumps.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects, working in various weather conditions, and performing physically demanding tasks.
