Responsibilities:

  • Support master planning, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs.
  • Negotiate vendor contracts for long-term partnerships, focusing on capacity, pricing, and inventory.
  • Raise purchase orders to suppliers and oversee end-to-end processes inclusive of on-time payment.
  • Issue production process orders to meet the plant's operational needs and customer delivery requirements.
  • Work closely with purchasing and warehouse/logistics teams to ensure on-time receipt and delivery of
    materials to maintain healthy materials inventory level to ensure uninterrupted production operations.
  • Drive Phase-In-Phase-Out exercise to deplete end-of-life and obsolescence material and ensure issuance
    of the correct materials for production operations.
  • Monitor materials usage trends, forecasting of materials to ensure appropriate re-ordering points, and assess
    safety stock requirements and strategize for future purchases.
  • Work closely with warehouse/logistics teams and 3PL warehouse for daily stock/material movement.
  • Timely reporting and resolution of materials supply issues and minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Identify cost-saving initiatives, and opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in
    material planning.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational alignment with production plans and KPIs.
  • Execute supply, ramp-up, and phase-out plans to ensure smooth transitions and operational efficiency.
  • Work with suppliers to drive sustainability and cost-improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure order fulfillment and track Complete In Full, On Time (CIFOT) and Delivery In Full, On Time (DIFOT) rate.
  • Responsible for annual Mandatory Packaging Reporting (MPR) to NEA.
  • Maintain compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or other business management discipline or related field.
  • Preferably 2-3 years of relevant experience in material planning and production scheduling in the Pharmaceutical, Chemical, and Cosmeceuticals industries.
  • Relevant experience in SAP, Halal, ISO 22716, and ISO 9001 will be an added advantage.
  • Fluent in both oral and written English.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills in handling production data, problem-solving, and optimization.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills for effective coordination.
  • Self-motivated, strong analytical thinking capability, proven ability to work effectively in a team
    environment.
  • Multi-tasking, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of efficiency and accuracy.
  • Meticulous and able to follow through with tasks promptly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is a must.
