Key Responsibilities:

Quality Management:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor standard operating procedure (SOP), work instruction (WI) and Risk Assessment (RA).
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO, Kaizen).
  • Conduct internal audits and lead efforts for corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Manage root cause analysis for quality issues and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Preparing Aftersales for ISO Certification.

Strategic Planning:

  • Lead the planning process to meet operational goals, including forecasting, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
  • Work closely with procurement, and logistics teams to create efficient workflows.
  • Develop KPIs to monitor and evaluate performance in both quality and production.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization by engaging staff in quality initiatives.
  • Implement new technologies, systems, or practices that enhance workshop and warehousing productivity and quality.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Support project, operational and stock planning and execution by coordinating timelines, resources, and quality expectations across PTOs.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of quality assurance and planning professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment that emphasizes accountability and teamwork.
  • Ensure proper training and development programs are in place to enhance staff capabilities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in quality management, production planning, or similar roles.
  • Prefer work in/with one of the Public Transport Operators.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001, Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent.
  • Experience in production planning, inventory control, and resource allocation.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Mandarin.
