Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24 hrs point of contact for ex SIN shipments (Cargo & Mail) and Ground Handling Agents for all operational request.
- Monitor offloading at of ex SIN shipments and ensure that they are promptly rebooked onto the next available flight.
- Review Loading Instructions / Load Plan generated by the GHA for SIN shipments or charter flights ex SIN
- Conduct warehouse checks to ensure:
- (a) Loading is done as per Loading Instruction
- (b) Special commodities (e.g. XPS, Perishables (PER), heavy odd sized cargo, temperature / shock sensitive cargo etc.) are handled and loaded correctly into ULDs.
- (c) Acceptance of ex SIN Cargo is on time and work with GHA to adjust timings if congestions is expected. Closely coordinate with Agents to ensure efficient lodge in.
- (d) All staff comply with all operating procedures, safety rules and regulations.
- Liaise with Agents to ensure all necessary documentation and declarations are in orders, including customs and EDI related information as required by the State or Regulator.
- Ensure LPD procedures are adhered to and to resolve discrepancies when they arise.
- Ensure ex SIN cargo has been sanctioned cleared and to resolve any discrepancies.
- Brief Cargo Hub Operations on the uplift priority for ex SIN cargo on critical flights including those with frequent payload issues, trim issues and high yield flights.
- Follow up with the SATS Cargo staff and ensure all ex SIN special cargoes (XPS, PER, VUL, DIP & others) are uplifted as booked on the flights.
- Investigate ex SIN cargo mishandling and work with SIN Sales on service recovery.
- Manage Station SIN ULD requirements to ensure enough stock for cargo usage and to link with Head Office ULD team to facilitate network management. Manage Agent ULD requirements to facilitate cargo build up.
- Perform loadsheet/loadmaster duties at overseas stations when required.
- Diploma Holder or equivalent
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and relate with people of diverse background and with very senior level executives (both in ranks and age)
