Key Responsibilities:
Proposal Development:
- Support the end-to-end proposal process, including gathering and organizing content, writing, editing, formatting, and reviewing proposals.
- Ensure that proposals are compliant with client specifications and requirements, including formatting, layout, and legal/contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with the Bid Director and other stakeholders to develop win strategies and value propositions.
Coordination & Management:
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to collect and compile technical and commercial information needed for the proposal.
- Manage proposal timelines and deadlines to ensure timely submissions.
- Maintain a proposal schedule and task list, ensuring each proposal step is completed efficiently.
- Organize and lead proposal kick-off meetings, internal reviews, and post-submission debriefs.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Conduct thorough compliance checks of proposals to ensure adherence to client RFP/RFQ requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and update templates, proposal materials, and databases to support continuous improvement in proposal preparation.
- Maintain accurate records of submitted proposals and keep track of success rates and feedback.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in proposal or bid management, preferably in an engineering, construction, or consultancy environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe InDesign or other desktop publishing software.
- Preferred: Experience in coordinating bids for large-scale engineering or construction projects.
