Job Responsibilities:
- Determine and identify new business opportunities by analyzing business needs in the Government Sectors.
- Preparation of business development plan, define and follow up which in line with the sales targets and objectives.
- Analyze and clarify Tender Bids and RFQs (Request for Quotation) or opportunities during pre-tender and tender phase.
- Lead and organize tender preparation, reviews and submissions in order to ensure completeness in quality, technical and risk compliance, and on time tender submission.
- Consolidate and analyze technical, bill of quantities, price schedules, cost/quotes, financial data and commercial contract in order to ensure technical compliance, risks mitigation and competitiveness during tender preparation and clarification phase.
- Arrange project involvement during Tender stage and manpower planning with project to come up with project organization chart and preliminary cost.
- Enhance and consolidate quotes in order to reach target win price and to prepare Tender Evaluation for management approval for tender Operating Profit Margin.
- Lead and execute tender interview presentation in a professional manner to increase win rate.
- Lead and organize tender reviews and meetings in order to ensure completeness and quality handover to project management team.
- To manage, coordinate and conduct the sales activities to achieve sales target and profitability target for the Company.
- Handling of client and commercial issues, i.e. enquiries, terms and condition, payment schedules, complaints.
- Identify and manage calculated risk in each sales opportunity.
- Coordination of regional / global contracts.
- Provide market information and participate in direct marketing strategy or planning.
- Attend conferences, meetings and industry events to grow the pool of partners to aid in expanding the range of services.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering preferred.
- Prior experience in building engineering and construction is preferred.
- Proven experience (3-5+ years) in tendering for government projects, business development, or a similar role.
- Experience in dealing with Government Authorities.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with market research, lead generation, and sales pipeline management.
- Ability to develop long-term strategies for client acquisition and retention.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth.
- Goal-oriented with a focus on results and outcomes.
- Ability to network and forge strong relationships within the industry.
