Role Summary
As the Business Development Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in building and growing corporate accounts across Singapore. You’ll use your industry expertise and well-established networks to open doors with CHROs, L&D leaders, and other senior executives to secure, develop, and expand client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth within the corporate education portfolio, securing new business opportunities across various sectors.
- Client Acquisition: Identify and engage with potential clients, including corporate accounts, local enterprises, MNCs, and government agencies.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain deep connections with HR, L&D, and executive leadership to expand the client base.
- Sales Leadership: Lead the end-to-end sales process—prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Customized Proposals: Create compelling, tailored proposals and presentations that resonate with client needs and drive impactful solutions.
- Collaborative Execution: Work with internal teams to align on solutions, influence marketing strategies, and support a robust sales pipeline.
Qualifications
- Over 7 years of corporate sales (B2B sales), with a background in Executive Education or HR/L&D Consulting
- Experience working with a learning/ education/ EdTech company is a plus.
- Strong understanding of how to approach, position talent & leadership development conversations with CHROs, L&D & HR professionals as well as Business/C-suite.
- Experience in selling online executive education or blended learning solutions to corporate clients will be seen as a big advantage.
- Strong communication and presentation skills – adept at developing, pitching, and closing large deals.
- Experience and working knowledge of CRM tools like HubSpot, Salesforce.
