As the Strategy & Market Insights Manager, your primary role is to provide key market insights, enable effective strategy development, and act as a catalyst for business transformation across ASEAN. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Business Transformation at NS BlueScope, this individual contributor role involves significant cross-country and cross-functional collaboration, particularly with country marketing teams, global marketing, and corporate strategy.

What you will do:

Market Intelligence & Trend Analysis: Monitor mega trends, gather market intelligence, and conduct data-driven analysis to support strategy development.

• Identify Growth Opportunities: Surface profitable growth opportunities and develop business cases to drive actions and investments.

• Strategic Transformation Support: Provide critical support in shaping and advancing the business transformation agenda, including strategy communication, managing transformation processes, and leading key strategic initiatives.

• Ecosystem Partnership Development: Assist in building strategic partnerships to influence the broader ecosystem and enhance business growth.

• Acquisition Project Support: Contribute to acquisition projects by providing market insights and strategic recommendations.

• Strategic Marketing Expertise: Serve as a Center of Excellence for strategic marketing, offering advisory and training support to teams.

What you will need:

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate strategy, strategic marketing, or business development.

• Proven track record in B2B market research, data analysis, and insights generation.

• Experience in a strategy consulting firm is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an inquisitive and resourceful approach to strategic issues.

• Excellent presentation-building and communication skills.

• Self-driven team player with strong interpersonal capabilities, able to thrive in cross functional environments.

• Ability to manage multiple marketing-related assignments with versatility and adaptability.

• Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university is required; an MBA or Master’s degree is highly desirable.
