In this key role, you’ll develop and execute HR strategies that align with our business objectives, fostering a culture of inclusivity and high performance. Working closely with the leadership team, you’ll ensure that our HR practices are efficient, employee-focused, and contribute to sustained growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute HR functions across Southeast Asia, including performance management, employee relations, talent development, compensation and benefits, recruitment, onboarding, policy interpretation, compliance, and safety initiatives.
  • Partner with regional leadership to create HR strategies that support talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Lead the implementation of compensation and benefits programs that reflect competitive market benchmarks.
  • Develop and manage a performance management system, including KPI setting and annual reviews, to enhance employee productivity and alignment with business goals.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to build a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal policies, handling employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary actions with fairness and transparency.
  • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments in compliance with government regulations.
  • Provide HR leadership on workforce planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to support business needs.
  • Act as a mentor to the HR team, ensuring the continuous professional development of HR staff and promoting a high-performance culture.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10-12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or senior role, preferably in logistics, transportation, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices, with demonstrated experience in managing the full range of HR functions.
  • Proven track record in developing and leading high-performing HR teams and promoting a collaborative work environment.
  • Strategic thinking with experience in aligning HR programs with business objectives to drive organizational success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical skills to assess HR metrics, identify trends, and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and a strong understanding of technology’s role in optimizing HR processes and operations.
