Main Purpose

The Brand & Digital intern supports Cle de Peau Beaute for both Brand & Digital scope. The function requires interfacing with other Business Function teams (Digital, Retail Design, Retail Excellence, creative, commercial) & across Asia, EMEA, Americas, the intern will be exposed to brand management fundamentals, as well as to the travel retail beauty industry with premium skincare brands. Other learning opportunities include the quick-evolving Chinese consumer digital & social landscape, and stakeholder management skills, working with people from various functions and countries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business and innovation opportunities, as well as conduct local market price monitoring.
  • Support seasonal launch updates, including the creation of launch books and toolkits, forecasting, retailer presentations, outpost support,
  • Support in the planning of market strategies, data management, research analysis for Annual Skincare Strategy Day Presentation
  • Assist in campaign planning, including ideation, vendor sourcing, and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure relevance and alignment.
  • Support in maintenance of marketing file management, including distribution, assortment, pricing, and translation documentation.

Digital

  • Ecommerce: support in CPB TR Ecommerce toolkit (RED, WEIBO, WECHAT) across retailers, support in brand-owned EC platform Product Detail Pages & Shop in Shop visual vetting & coordination, monthly research & clipping report on China & TR ecommerce (by platform analysis on competitors, price, offer mechanism, product feature, etc)
  • Social: CPB owned WeChat Calendar and post vetting, monthly research with retainer agency on social trend & buzz & competitor cases in China and TR

Admin

  • Assist the team on vendor creation, PO raising, quotation & invoice tracking
  • Assist team on reports: Weekly T-mall and online price tracking, monthly regions report consolidation and sharing, Monthly Commercial team meeting presentation
  • Handle ad-hoc requests and facilitate communication between teams in Singapore and overseas offices.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Undergraduate or Postgraduate majoring in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Self-starter, must be detail-oriented, high-energy levels, positive & enthusiastic
  • Passionate or have interest in the beauty industry will be an added advantage
  • Comfortable with numbers and analysis of data.
  • Familiar with China mainstream social and EC platforms & landscape
  • Strong research skill with ability to gather and analyze of data from a variety of sources
  • Positive, enthusiastic and collaborative can-do mentality.
  • Strong command of the Chinese language is a bonus
