Platform Performance & Insights (Senior Specialist)

About The Team

The Platform Performance and Insights team is responsible for generating actionable insights from user-behavior & app/digital interaction data across all digital/omni channel touchpoints to support FairPrice Omnichannel CoE and enabling data-driven business decisions.

Platform Performance and Insights team leverages data from multiple sources (Amplitude, Google Analytics, Contentsquare, CDP, BigQuery) to drive in-depth analysis and insights on key topics like user friction points on app-journeys, user engagement drivers, omnichannel/omni-vertical behavioral journeys, app-engagement, screen/platform performance all of which are critical to enhance user/DCC engagement and drive growth & user satisfaction.

About the Role

  • Gain in-depth understanding of behavioral and transactional data across various sources (Clickstream/GA, CDP/Product Analytics/Segmentation/Cohorts, Transactional data, Customer Data, CRM, A/B Testing data) & tools (Amplitude, Google Analytics, Segment, Bigquery, DataStudio, Contentsquare)
  • Being the ‘data backbone' of Platform team - Spearhead all App/User analytics efforts - analyze user behavior across App/Web, product & feature interactions on the app, measure effectiveness of various properties (Banners, Widgets, Swimlanes), screens (HomePage, Search, Promo etc), business verticals and analyze user journeys/funnels on the platform
  • Monitor key app performance metrics like Traffic, Conversion, GMV, DAU, Engaged Users, Funnel & Retention metrics across various key dimensions. Generate actionable insights & key opportunities from the same by analyzing key drivers, interpreting trends & proactively performing deep-dive analysis as required
  • Support various teams across Omni CoE on a need-basis on various high-impact initiatives - drafting the right measurement framework, advising on right quantitative techniques & metrics to measure impact of key Product/Platform/Omni Channel initiatives
  • As the ‘Power User' of all user/digital analytics tools, work closely with Data product teams to review, feedback and influence definition and tracking of core events (user actions) & properties.
  • Be the ‘Champion' of user/digital analytics tools and metrics across the org. Educate, empower business users across the org, as needed, to evangelize the usage of user-behavior data through self-serve tools

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in digital analytics/product analytics/user insights roles
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Google Analytics and digital/product analytics tools like Amplitude, MixPanel, Heap, Pendo. Working knowledge of digital experience tools like Contentsquare/FullStory is a plus.
  • Strong in custom querying, dashboarding and analysis (SQL, Google BigQuery, reporting & dashboarding tools like DataStudio/Tableau)
  • Experience working with & navigating through complex Event/Tag Plans, user journeys, omnichannel data, CDP & data teams is a big plus
  • Quantitative discipline with strong business sense; ability to articulate complex analyses to a wide range of audiences and translating these to actionable business insights
  • Efficient project and stakeholder management skills. Should have demonstrated the ability to work independently; partnering with mid-senior level executives to deliver business impact through data & actionable insights
