About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.


Your Role:

  • Reviewing work of Investor Relations administration staff and ensuring the rules and representations of the fund are adhered to;
  • Proactively managing the team’s daily workflow and ensuring set deadlines are met;
  • Completing monthly and ad hoc reports upon request and ensuring a high level of accuracy is achieved at all times;
  • Working closely with and supporting Account Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the team and the ongoing adherence to procedures and processes;
  • Building and maintaining relationship with the client and acting as an escalation point when Account Manager is unavailable;
  • Processing capital transactions over the month end period;
  • Updating of NAV, reporting to investors and maintaining share register;
  • Assisting auditors and other fund participants and advisors;
  • Liaising with investors in relation to anti-money laundering documentation.
  • Performing the administration of and any services pursuant to administration agreements in respect of a portfolio of hedge funds and private equity funds;
  • Maintaining shareholders registers and acting as transfer agent;
  • Processing and confirming subscriptions, redemptions and transfers;
  • Communicating with investors;
  • Processing payments and other transactions;
  • Performing all of the investor related services of the Company’s investment fund clients;
  • Meeting expectations of fund participants, adhering to deadlines, ensuring the rules and representations of the fund are adhered to;
  • Daily maintenance of all data and records for the Investor Relations Group which entails, managing the filing system by ensuring transaction and investor records are filed and maintained efficiently and comprehensively;
  • Updating Investor records on our transfer agency systems, and periodically performing database updates and management;
  • Assisting auditors and other fund participants and advisers.

About You:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting , Finance, Business related area
  • Min 3-5 years of experience in an investor relations environment, preferably private equity and/or hedge funds
  • Display an active interest in the financial markets, hedge fund and private equity industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel etc).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Good client/ business relationship management;
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting , Finance, Business related area and/or studying for a professional accounting qualification
  • 1-2 years of experience in Financial Services with high volume operational environment and/ or hedge fund industry is an advantage
  • Display an active interest in the financial markets and hedge fund industry
  • Strong financial and/or accounting and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel etc)performing the administration of and any services pursuant to administration agreements in respect of a portfolio of hedge funds;
