Support the DD/SAD in technology foresighting and strategic R&D planning to catalyse the development of new R&D programmes related to manufacturing, including the use of AI for product design, shopfloor operations optimisation or quality assurance,
Engage and collaborate with various stakeholders, including Ministries, Public Agencies, Research Institutes (RIs), Institutes of Higher Learning, to garner the necessary support and resources.
Support the DD/SAD in the coordination and execution of major R&D initiatives related to Smart & Sustainable Manufacturing, led by the Science and Engineering Research Council (SERC). These initiatives could involve multiple stakeholders / Research Institutes within A*STAR.
Track and provide oversight on the progress of ongoing research programmes within the officer's portfolio which will include manufacturing sectors such as Aerospace (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul), and identify opportunities for future scope expansion of these programmes.
Job Requirements
A bachelor's degree in a technical/engineering discipline, with at least 1-2 years of related work experience. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply too.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable with interacting with stakeholders at various level (including Senior Management) etc.
Adaptable, result-oriented and resourceful, with astute planning and analytical skills.
Values integrity, teamwork and excellence.
