Job Responsibilities :
We seek a highly skilled Senior Manager for Information Security. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, technically proficient, and capable of managing various security systems and tools. This role requires a strong background in managing security service providers, implementing new cybersecurity solutions, and developing security policies and compliance measures. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, as well as cross-Business Units (BUs), to ensure the security of IT systems, data, and compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.Information Security Strategy and Planning:
- Contribute to the Group Information Security (InfoSec) strategy
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
Policy and Procedure Development:
- Create and maintain Group InfoSec Architecture, frameworks and policies, ensuring alignment across Business Units and compliance with industry standards.
Risk Management:
- Conduct security risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies.
- Assist in contract reviews from a GDPR and InfoSec perspective.
Incident Response and Management:
- Review and co-lead incident response plans.
- Coordinate with relevant departments and external parties during investigations.
Security Monitoring and Operations:
- Oversee Cloud Security, manage security solutions such as PAM, vulnerability management, phishing Platform, and handle outsourced security services such as Bug Bounty and Security Operations Centre.
- Review, analyse and ensure the timely closure of security bugs, vulnerabilities, alerts, and issues while working with BU-InfoSec to plan for remediation or implementing controls to mitigate them.
Security Projects and Initiatives:
- Lead security projects with internal technology teams and BU-InfoSec, including Red-Teaming exercises.
- Evaluate and select security solutions, including the negotiation of the associated contracts.
- Manage, operate, and fine-tune security solutions deployed.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by line manager.
Pre-Requisites :
- Degree in Computer Science or Cyber Security with at least 7 years of cybersecurity experience.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH and AWS Security.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity roles, with project management and stakeholder management experience.
- Hands-on experience and knowledge of exploiting vulnerabilities.
- Proficiency in VAPT, PAM, Phishing Platforms, network security, AWS cloud security, and application security.
- Knowledge of risk management, BCP, security frameworks such NIST, ISO2700, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), GDPR and/or Technology Risk Management Frameworks (e.g., MAS TRM)
- Excellent oral/written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Positive mindset, open-minded, flexible and proactive.
- Experience in managing cyber security vendors.
