1. To maintain standards set by the Head Chef in relation to food preparation, food quality and presentation in all outlets for the benefit of all guests and resort employees.
2. Assist with stock rotation, receiving and correct storage of produce
3. Ensure all cool rooms, fridges, freezers and dry store areas are maintained in a clean and safe manner, in compliance with health and company regulations.
4. Ensure all food is prepared in line with standard recipes to maintain food costs and product consistency.

9. Guide all junior chefs to practice proper handling of knives, sharp utensils and dangerous equipment with in correct safety standards
10. Making sure that all chefs clean their sections and equipment that they were responsible for during their service and before shift changes take place.
11. Ensure all equipment within the kitchen is fully functional and safe, reporting any deficiencies to the Chef in Charge.
12. Covering all duties required of the Sous Chef in their absence.

15. To teach & lead by example in kitchen practices of cooking, handling, labeling and dating of all foods item (practice what you preach)
