Supply Chain Demand Planner

Job Scope:
· Review and analyse historical sales data trends, understand demand drivers, prepare forecast data, and evaluate forecast results.
· Coordinate cross-functional activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
· Interact with sales, marketing, and finance to understand demand forecast drivers.
· Use and maintain the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool.
· Provide input to the Supply Planning team in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
· Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with supply planning
· Review sales forecast and ensure it is aligned with budget and recommend adjustments to subsidiaries accordingly
· Review monthly promotional plans with subsidiaries
· Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand planning process
· Improve relationships among planners, sales, marketing which will lead to effective knowledge sharing and an optimal consensus forecast to better guide the company.
· Any other ad hoc duties as per assigned by the Supply Chain Manager, or such other persons as the Company may direct from time to time.
Requirement:
· Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management
· Strong analytical and organizational skills
· Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all stakeholders
· Well versed with Ecxel
· Experience with SAP is a plus
· A good knowledge of forecasting tool such as FurturMaster is a bonus
· At least 2 years of relevant working experience
