Role Summary:
You will have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated real estate professionals, with an exciting pipeline or projects around the region. The candidate should be able to oversee a team of project managers, and to take on development projects from day one of acquisition and see it through to completion- in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate design brief to ensure it align with development strategy
- Manage a team of consultants from project's inspection to completion, and lead project planning sessions
- Monitor the progress and ensure projects are completed within desired time, quality and cost
- Coordinating staff and internal resources, and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Review consultants' design and to ensure design is adequate, cost effective and complies with Authorities' requirements
- Optimising and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
- Liaise with Consultants and relevant Authorities for approval
- Plan and co-ordinate design development, project schedules and budgets and ensure that work is progressing as planned
- Manage tender process and procurement activities
- Ensure the works are completed in compliance with drawings, specifications, quality and authorities' requirement
- Liaise with stakeholder on their requirements including handling over of assets
- Liaise with Architects, PE, RTO, Authorities, and other consultants, project related personnel to settle any technical problems and to attend site meetings
- Conducting project review and creating details reports for senior management
- Resolve all technical issue with Consultants
Requirements:
- Experience: at least 12-15 years of directly relevant working experience in residential and commercial development projects with strong and reputable developers; proven track record in managing real estate projects in Singapore and China is a must; some exposure to the Indonesian real estate domain preferred.
- Technical competencies in either one or two of the three technical domains: (a) Design Management, (b) Cost and Contract Management; and/or (c) Site Management.
- Leadership quality and maturity to lead and grow a team of specialists cross different technical domains, ideally with a track record of building and managing a team of project managers; a team player with strong individual drive, sense of responsibility and task ownership.
- Communication skill to manage and coordinate works across different technical domains both internally and externally.
- Problem-solving skill to manage and resolve issues across different technical domains both internally and externally.
- Positive and “can-do” attitude to inspire the team and all stakeholders involve in project development works with critical attention to details
- Academic: University candidates in Architectural/ Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
