Job Description & Requirements
Responsible for Windows servers, AD, DHCP, DNS and GPO implementation and maintenance.
Responsible for insuring the day-to-day operation, reliability, and integrity of the client’s environment. This includes the installation, maintenance, and management of all system related technologies such as VMware, backup, patch management, anti-virus rollout/support/monitoring.
Perform cloud technology administration on platforms such as AWS, Azure, Office365, etc.
The Engineer is responsible to assist in the development of company policies and procedures to support operations, security, and integrity.
Responsible for performing system generation, tuning, configuration, upgrades, performance management, disaster recovery, network troubleshooting, end-user support and usage reporting as required.
This position is responsible to work with all technology team member to insure proper design of system architecture.
Analyses existing customer system infrastructure and identify potential enhancements to sustain and improve optimization and performance.
Perform MS Windows 2008/2012/2016 and health checks.
Create and maintain documentation, report generation/customization.
Provides clear oral and written communication.
Maintains high quality customer service to customers.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Computer Science Engineering in relevant discipline.
ITIL, MCSE/MCSA certification or equivalent preferred.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in supporting and implementing IT infrastructure.
Strong consultancy and interpersonal skills.
Good technical/engineering/development practice.
Hands-on system design and/or configuration experience with Microsoft Technologies, VMware, Backup Software and Cloud Technologies.
Experience in VMware server virtualization and administration.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Server OS Roles and Features is required.
Well rounded technologist willing to learn and understand networking, middleware, storage, backup/restore, automation, system and security.
Experience planning and developing support processes and adhering to best practices
Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
