  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Role Description

Seeking a passionated English tutor to work with Chinese-speaking students (ages 8-16) in an offline, face-to-face setting. The role involves guiding students in improving their spoken and written English, enhancing their confidence in conversational skills, and helping them with language fundamentals such as vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. The ideal candidate will be patient, communicative, and culturally sensitive, with a strong command of English and a passion for fostering language learning in a supportive and engaging way.

Qualifications

  • English Teaching and Tutoring skills
  • Proficiency in English Speaking and Writing
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Passion for educating and mentoring students
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual student needs
  • Previous experience in education or tutoring is preferred
  • Native-speaker (English) with basic knowledge in Chinese is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in English/Communication/Business/Social Science or related field is an advantage
