Responsibilities:
You will conduct agency reviews and trend analysis to identify potential gaps and areas for improvement, and implement enhanced framework for the distribution reps so that they can conduct proper sales advisory processes for their policyholders and provide them with quality advice and suitable recommendations.
- Provide support for day-to-day operations by assisting in the team’s functions
- Train new and existing Sales Representatives on the use of Fact Finder and Sales system
- Assist in reviewing the quality of Fact Finder and Recommendations, and ensure that their fact finder document are in compliance with company standards
- Assist in monitoring competency standards required of supervisors and representatives to ensure alignment with regulatory and industry guidelines
- Assist in developing and implementing communication plans on competency standards
- Engage and coach supervisors of Sales Representatives in areas of sales activity, quality of sales/ sales management, and training needs as and when required
- Assist in the execution of special projects / initiatives
- Assist in conducting audit for regulatory compliance requirements, including but not limited to, compliance of Life Insurance Association Members’ Undertaking (LIA MU) requirements by
leaders, mystery shopping results, categorization of Balance Scorecard (BSC) grading, as well as appeals - Preparing regular reports
- Liaison with IT / Group Risk Management / Distribution Regulatory and Compliance (DRC) on any data extraction / investigation and reporting
- Updating of SOPs and internal guidelines when required
- Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
- Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
- Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
Requirements:
- Degree holder and above in related discipline (Banking/ Business/ Finances/ Accounting) preferred
- 1 - 3 years of compliance / audit experience in Financial Services or insurance Industry would be an added advantage
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Meticulous, professional, able to work well independently and as a team
- High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
- Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
