UAT Software Testing Engineer (General Ledger - Banking Trade Finance)

Responsibilities

. Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), writing test cases, reporting defects and updating results.
. Able to understand business requirements/functional specifications documentation and translate them into test cases.
. Able to execute test scripts, raise defects in tracking system (e.g. Jira) and follow through on defect resolution.
. Able to collaborate with business and technology team to ensure effective end to end testing.
. Experience in performing UAT testing or Business Analyst is preferred.Able to understand business requirements/functional requirements and translate them into test cases.

At least 1+ years of experience in performing UAT testing or Business Analyst

Role is mainly in the nature of manual testing (UAT), however there will be an opportunity to learn automation testing using TOSCA:

. Learn and master TOSCA tool which is a software testing tool used to design test cases and automate end to end testing

. Understand Test Case Design developed in TOSCA for the technology change

. Drive testing delivery as per the test strategy and test plan

. Create instances in TOSCA for multiple test data combinations

. Perform Exploratory Test Case execution

. Perform Test Case automation in TOSCA for identified modules

Requirements

. Bachelor's degree/ Diploma holder

. Banks Operations experience is advantageous (Trade Finance)

. Proficient computer skills

. Strong analytical skills

. Good communication and interpersonal skills

. Able to work independently and in a team

. UAT for Trade Finance Platform (Focuse on the Module of - General Ledger Accounting)

. Trade Finance Products (Letters of Credit, Supply Chain Finance, Factoring, Export Credits, Purchase Order Finance, Payment Guarantees, Lending Facilities)

. General Ledger Accounting Knowledge: Double Entry Accounting, Income Statement, Full Set Accounts, Cash Flow Statement, Trial Balances, assets, liabilities, owner's equity, revenue, and expenses)
