Job Description
You will be reporting to the Executive Director.
Job Description:
- Researching governmental and non-governmental organisations, foundations, corporates and individuals to identify funding, sponsoring and partnering opportunities
- Researching the CSRs of corporate companies for donations, sponsorships and partnering opportunities
- Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish contact, build rapport with a view to closing deals
- Planning and overseeing new marketing and revenue generating initiatives
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events (mainly Art and Culture and Government related)
- Preparing presentations and sales decks
- Contacting sponsors, donors and Friends of Practice to inform them about the company's events and initiatives
- Develop, write and submit proposals, execute contracts and follow up reporting (as required)
- Negotiating and closing deals
- Donor relationship management covering Friends of Practice, corporates, foundations and marketing partners
- Work closely with the Communications Department on events and/or projects.
- Assist the Executive Director in day-to-day administrative details coordinates the flow of information as required for policy and operational decisions.
- Research, source, collate information for analysis and evaluates alternatives for action develops internal relationships necessary to implement solutions.
- Responsible for timely application and subsequent execution of funding and sponsoring contracts.
- Directs the research, analysis, preparation and editing of administrative staff reports coordinates the publication of company overview.
- Investigates and responds to concerns and complaints from clients, community advocacy groups, members of the public.
- Coordinates the production of various documents and other written materials for internal and external distribution.
- Prepares a variety of correspondence, periodic and special reports, informational publications, policies, procedures and other written materials maintains accurate records and files related to work performed.
For education and experience background
- Relevant degree from a reputable university
- 1-3 years relevant experience in business development and/or customer relations preferred but not a must. Fresh graduate can apply
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Pleasant outgoing personality and good people skills
- A team player who is able to work independently with minimum supervision
