Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Lead and supervise a team of mechanics in the repair and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and provide solutions for electrical and mechanical system issues, focusing on engine-related problems.
- Assist the Service Manager or Assistant Manager in coordinating subcontractors for mechanical and electrical work.
- Advise customers on engine service, maintenance, and repairs, including ship systems that impact engine performance.
- Respond to technical inquiries from customers as assigned by the Service Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and customer interactions.
- Ensure that all repair work meets industry standards and complies with safety regulations.
- Manage tools, equipment, and parts necessary for engine repairs and maintenance.
- Provide guidance and training to junior mechanics and team members.
- Carry out any other responsibilities as directed by the Service Manager or Assistant Manager.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Marine or Mechantronics Engineering
- Min CoC Class 2
- Min 1 year experience in shipyards, boat design, diesel engineer repair, fast boat operations
- Good Communications & Interpersonal skills
- Willing to work offshore and travel frequently.
