Job Description:
- Estimate, plan, schedule, coordinate, and supervise the setup, installation, and maintenance of the following equipment:
- Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM)
- Slurry Treatment Plant (STP)
- ECM, Air Supply System, and Batching Plant
- Tunnel Ventilation and Communication Systems (RFID, Telephone, Fire Fighting, Gas Detector)
- Locomotive, Chiller Plant, Gantry Crane, Dewatering System
- Water Cooling Tower and 22KV Sub-station - Prepare and write Power ON documents for TBM and the 22KV Sub-station.
- Plan the power distribution system for the bored tunnel and the entire site.
- Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of TBM, electrical systems, locomotives, batching plant, cooling towers, and other critical tunnel facilities.
- Estimate and order electrical equipment and spare parts as needed, ensuring specifications are met.
- Prepare for the TBM's initial and main drives.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tunnel construction, particularly with tunnel boring machines (TBM) and underground project management.
- Proficient in the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of tunneling and construction equipment, including TBM, slurry treatment plants, ventilation systems, locomotives, and dewatering systems.
- Familiarity with power distribution systems and the preparation of Power ON documentation for complex equipment (e.g., 22KV sub-stations).
- Working knowledge of CAD and other relevant engineering software.
- Proficient in general office software for project management, scheduling, and reporting.
- Certified in health and safety standards related to construction and tunneling environments.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and safety practices for underground construction.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in coordinating diverse teams.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders, including LTA, QPS, QPD, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for rapid response to technical issues.
- Ability to estimate resources, prepare schedules, and manage timelines efficiently
