Reporting to the Team Lead, you will manage various initiatives that would promote and strengthen strategic relations across the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre (AMC) and its stakeholders. This includes the facilitation of academic collaborations and events, as well as coordination of joint partnership programmes across SingHealth, Duke-NUS Medical School, NUS, and Duke Health in Durham, USA.

A significant aspect of your role involves managing the AMC website to ensure timely and clear dissemination of information on Academic Medicine initiatives and to enhance the centre's Academic Medicine presence. Your duties will encompass overseeing website functionality, evaluating website performance, developing new web content, and ensuring regular updates to ensure it remains a comprehensive resource for Academic Medicine information.

You will also partner the Academic Clinical Programmes (ACPs) in developing effective outreach efforts to engage clinical leaders, faculties, researchers and administrators across various institutions. As part of the Academic Liaison and Strategic Relations team, you will manage the planning and coordination of Academic Visits, Academic Sharing events and communications efforts in Academic Medicine (e.g. collaterals/posters, webinars, events and conferences).

Another key responsibility includes managing the process for joint appointments of ACP Leadership positions and organising AMcompass induction sessions and online resources. Other aspects of academic liaison include support for academic exchanges, joint appointments for faculty with Duke, coordinating academic visits and the academic visiting scholars programme.

To facilitate collaborations, you may also organise and coordinate various projects to support faculty networking, coordinate NUS visitor accounts and access, procurement support, Institute of Higher Learning grants, Duke-NUS fixed assets management and other academic partnership activities with Duke-NUS/NUS/Duke. Other secretariat duties will involve liaison with partnering departments to coordinate approvals at the AMC leadership meetings.

Requirements:

  • Degree with at least 2-4 years’ relevant experience and strong track record in website management, content production and communications
  • Experience in stakeholder management and driving multi-faceted projects with good outcomes
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to carry out analytical and coordination work
  • Experience in managing events, webinars and conferences will be advantageous
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Canva, Tableau
  • Strong interpersonal skills
