  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join one of the well-established Commodity Trading Firms as a Trade Finance Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of local Trade Finance regulatory standards as well as a base level understanding of the Treasury space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily trade activities, encompassing the issuance and modification of letters of credit (LCs), document confirmations, export bill discounting, and tracking payment deadlines.
  • Serve as the main liaison between trade operators and banks concerning trade finance contracts, amendments, and related questions.
  • Work closely with the Treasury Team to nurture relationships with banking partners.
  • Confirm and address any discrepancies raised by banks, ensuring adherence to trade finance regulations and internal guidelines.
  • Compile and update management reports on trade finance operations utilizing diverse reporting systems.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity
  • Good knowledge of Trade Finance market and instruments
  • Knowledge of treasury is a plus
