Production Executive oversees day-to-day production operations as a 2nd in command to the production manager. He/she supports the department in fulfilling key performance indicators, quality assurances, investigating issues, and recommending solutions.

Job Descriptions:

  • Develop production plans and schedules to meet customer demands while optimising resources and minimising costs.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimisation, efficiency improvement, and cost reduction within the production process, and implement appropriate strategies and initiatives.
  • Ensure that production processes adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements, implementing quality control measures to maintain product quality and safety.
  • Oversee inventory levels of raw materials, ingredients, and finished products, and develop inventory management strategies to optimise inventory turnover and minimise waste.
  • Allocate resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to ensure smooth production operations and meet production targets.
  • Lead and motivate the production team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance and morale.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, implement safety protocols and procedures, and promote a culture of safety within the production workplace.
  • Monitor production costs and expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to control costs without compromising product quality or safety.
  • Collaborate with other departments / internal stakeholders, to ensure seamless coordination and communication across the production process.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, encourage innovation, and implement best practices to enhance production efficiency, quality, and effectiveness.
  • Generate reports and analyse production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, or opportunities for improvement. Present findings to superiors and contribute to decision-making processes. Maintain accurate records of production data, including batch records, inventory reports, production schedules, and quality control documents.
  • Organized & upkeep all production & administration documents for traceability & record.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc projects or tasks to be assigned by the HOD /management from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree in Bachelor's and Associate Degree in Education, Management, Technical, Culinary, Food Service Management, Food Technology, Dietetics, Hospitality, Business, Culinary Arts, Healthcare of relevant or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in relevant field or in F&B background
  • Proven experience in food production management, with a strong understanding of food production processes, equipment, and technologies.
  • Adequate leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, strong organisational skills; and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
  • Knowledge & experience of handling food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO22000/FSSC22000) and quality standards is preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in computer applications or administrative software/tools (MS Office, Enterprise Resource Planning System, NAV System, SAP, etc.) is preferred
