About The Department
The Regional Fraud Uplift Office resides unit under the Group Retail COO. Its primary responsibility lies in managing fraud-related setups and operating rhythm together with partners across Fraud Risk Management Business Risk and Control, Analytics Compliance etc at Group and Countries to focus on deterring , detecting and resolving approach for fraud to protect our customers and our bank.

About The Department
The Regional Fraud Uplift Office resides unit under the Group Retail COO. Its primary responsibility lies in managing fraud-related setups and operating rhythm together with partners across Fraud Risk Management Business Risk and Control, Analytics Compliance etc at Group and Countries to focus on deterring , detecting and resolving approach for fraud to protect our customers and our bank.
Job Responsibilities
Project delivery
- Creating detailed project plan and overseeing workstreams within respective Fraud and related business units (e.g., SG and oversee hiring progress, alignment of roles etc.)
- Collaborate with overseas offices to align the structure in accordance with Fraud Policy cum Group Structure – across line 1 and 1.5
- Manage Regular Update with country for Country and Group forums on the Uplift progress
- Align on progress updates and blockers within country project team for communication to Group
- Maintain robust governance around decisions made, risks escalated, timeline changes, and other project-related matters.
- Escalate key risks, define mitigations, and communicate accordingly with relevant stakeholders
- Monitor progress, dependencies, risks / issues at the overall project and workstream level
- Ongoing basis , facilitate a cadence for all market leads to share on fraud trends, typologies , POCS , regulatory or areas for best practices cum mitigation to deter, detect , resolve fraud risk.
- Align country metrics and country fraud forums (AFC , Fraud Ops Panel) as per proposed by Group for line 1 and 1.5
- Partners relevant stakeholders in-country to align on reporting to Group,
- Identify key risks and mitigations and provide relevant progress updates
- Partners Group counterparts to provide regular updates and necessary clarifications of progress
- Partners internal stakeholders (both in-country and at Group level) for regulatory engagement as necessary
- 8 -10 years of direct experience in the financial industry, preferably anti financial crime risk management functions
- Domain knowledge in Fraud and other Fin. Crime risks related are a plus
- Strong organization skills with excellent attention to detail
- Senior stakeholder management, the ability to build constructive partnerships with diverse stakeholders and challenge where required
- Demonstrates in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge in related fields
- Solid experience in Risk, Control & Governance, Operations, Assurance and Analytics
