As an Operations - Technology (Transformation) Specialist, you will be involved in key initiatives involving process redesign, experimenting with new technology or digital tools and driving digitalisation or other transformation projects. You will partner relevant (internal and external) stakeholders to drive strategy and execution of such projects to achieve operational excellence.
What You Will Be Working On
Drive digital initiatives
- Identifying opportunities for digital solutions.
- Evaluating potential use-cases and implications of technologies available to support day-to-day operations.
- Designing, enhancing and developing new and existing digital services.
- Driving effective change to ensure the adoption of digital solutions with stakeholders.
- Designing, developing and maintaining IRAS’ systems or sub-systems, other digital services such as on-boarding tool and bulk processing jobs to automate routine work processes.
- Reviewing and recommending systems enhancements for implementation.
- Providing support to software vendors, platform intermediaries and tax intermediaries on changes to Corporate Income Tax treatment/ Individual Income Tax treatments for partnerships and self-employed persons.
Background in Accounting/ Taxation or related fields such as Information Systems Technology and Design
- Ops-Tech: Use-case identification, management and application of technology and digital tools to improve work processes and ensure customer-centricity. Digital project management. Must be comfortable working in an agile manner.
- Systems thinking: Ability to review processes and consider opportunity areas from an end-to end perspective.
- Analytical decision making: Ability to identify and assess pertinent external developments, and/ or service, compliance or performance trends across various areas of work, with a view of enhancing organisation efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction. Ability to manage trade-offs and to track and monitor success measurements.
- Stakeholder management: Ability to communicate and manage various stakeholders to achieve win-win outcomes.
