Established in 2012, there are over 150 colleagues in Singapore’s Centre today including actuaries, software developers, data scientists, financial analysts and accountants. We are expanding rapidly and looking for dedicated individuals who can leverage emerging technologies and collaborate across Aon’s solution lines to help clients and colleagues make better, data-driven decisions today and tomorrow.
What The Day Will Look Like
The successful candidate will be part of the Growth Analytics team based in Singapore, a dynamic and high-energy team, delivering data-driven insights to our leaders to drive performance and support strategic decision making.
The Business Analytics Partner role in the team acts as an analytics translator between our business leaders and technical D&A expertise, leveraging on data-driven insights to help our business leaders make more informed decisions around driving performance improvements and business process optimization across Aon.
This role extends beyond analytics requires strategic collaboration with teams such as sales, product, technology, finance, and more. Conduct in-depth interviews with senior partners to capture insights, understand business needs and challenges. Addressing these issues with the help of our core offerings.

Responsibilities
- Partner with countries on delivery of analytical insights and embedment of the team’s suite of products
- Management of initiatives to ensure delivery within timelines
- Partner with cross-functional teams to source large data sets, address data quality challenges, reconcile reports and applying business logic
- Support in conceptualizing solutions, rolling out and testing products
- Work with local, regional and global teams to implement recommendations towards a positive and balanced outcomes
- Collect end-user requests and translate them into business requirements for our development group
- Cultivate and sustain positive relationships with diverse teams to achieve collective goals and drive organizational success
- Manage and influence stakeholders’ expectations and decisions, and drive effective change management
- Work with large data sets, review and analyse to validate results effectively and provide insightful analyses.
- Articulate sophisticated concepts clearly to support senior management in data-driven decision-making
- Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance (Financial Planning and Analysis) with a minimum 4-6 years of working experience in related areas
- Seeks to grow into a business analytics consultant; this is not under a career track of a data scientist
- Have experience in managing senior stakeholders and/or business partnering
- Ability to manage ambiguity such as
- Analyzing complex and unclear situations to develop clear and actionable plans or decision making
- Breaking down ambiguous problems into manageable components and identifying potential solutions
- Comfortable making decisions with partial information and adjusting strategies as more data is obtained
- Demonstrate a growth mindset and willingness to learn proprietary conceptual models (such as cost allocation / activity-base costing)
- Team player, analytical, problem-solving, critical and innovative thinking skills
- High-level written and verbal communication and presentations skills
- Able to multi-task, self-disciplined, organized, diligent, with good prioritization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Power Automate and PowerBI
- Proficiency in SQL/VBA
