At Tasek Academy and Social Services, we believe in utilising sports as a means of holistic development of children and youth in our community. As a Tasek Sailors football coach, you will be key to our efforts in instilling positive values and life skills through the beautiful game of football.
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the training and development of a specific team (Girls U14 / Open; Boys U15 / U17 / Open).
• Implement coaching plans, and identify and develop each player’s potential, ensuring a balanced focus on social, physical, psychological and technical/tactical aspects.
• Act as a mentor to players, offer support and advice on personal development and growth.
• Work collaboratively with other coaches and staff to align training objectives and strategies with Tasek Sailors' overall football philosophy.
• Prepare the team for competitions, analyse performance, and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
• Complete routine administrative tasks such as attendance taking, player ratings / assessments, and match reports.
• Attend periodic coaches meetings and professional development sessions.
Qualifications
• (Preferred) AFC 'C' License, or equivalent, and National Registry of Coaches (NROC) registration.
• Strong communication, leadership, and team management skills.
• Committed to using sports as a tool for holistic development.
• Willingness to work during evenings and weekends for training and matches.
• Interest in mentoring young athletes and community engagement.
Hourly Allowance - hourly rate depending on qualifications and relevant experience.
